Please thank Stephanie for the $200 she sent, and also for her faithful support. Charles Tatch sent me a real nice letter and $100. So thank him too.
I desperately need funds to keep up our momentum and press onward to victory. I also need strength of heart to fight to the end. So please pray for me and send me sustaining letters.
This experience has revealed a lot of people with flaky personalities, and a lot of fair weather friends with treacherous hearts. This demoralizing sight is sobering.
But there have been 7 times as many people who have shown up with steadfast resolve and virtuous hearts. Far from convincing me that humanity is hopeless, this nightmare has shown me that humanity is undefeatable. The tides of evil rise and fall, but the rocks of righteous people are unmoved.
Every Saturday when you guys meet on your Gideon’s Army call, I watch my watch and pray for blessings and protection to be yours. I’m with you every time. And I ask God to give the people on that call a supernatural courage, that all of you would have a heart that knows you are children of a fearless King.
The victorious life is not for the faint of heart. Victory for good over evil is a sure thing. But our participation in that victory is not a given. So it is our hearts that I pray for.
If you have courage, you will never be confused by life. Courage is not the product of mental clarity and insight; mental clarity and insight is the product of courage. So it is our hearts that I pray for.
We do not win by out slithering snakes and criminals like Skrocki, Fulton, Bennett, and Olson with their sneaky, underhanded, cowardly lives and self absorbed corrupt hearts. We win by being wholehearted men and women of good character and letting nature run its course. So it is our hearts that I pray for.
We do not become wealthy households with independence and influence by being cut throat business people, or by sucking up to a government that’s gaming the whole economy. We don’t win by making others lose. We became wealthy, strong, unshakable winners at life by having such deep and authentic love that we are a magnet for good people, good deals, and good fortune. So it is our hearts that I pray for.
We don’t die content with our lives because we managed to avoid all pain and hardship. We die content with our lives because we took it all in, deep and thorough, fully experiencing joy and sorrow, pain and pleasure, loyalty and betrayal, love and loss, without hiding our heart from the flyovers of life. So it is our hearts that I pray for.
We all want a lot of things out of life. And that’s okay. But really, the most important thing is just to be alive when you die. If your only wish was that—to be alive when you die—chances are, you’re going to live a magnificent life, with a wholehearted fearlessness. So it is our heart at I pray for.
